Refugee Week planning meeting took place in early march organised by Sanctuary on Sea and Euro Mediterranean Resources Network, with Brighton Table Tennis Club, Voices In Exile, Brighton & Hove Bahá’i Community, Jollof Café and Brighton & Hove City Libraries and more.
The opening event for refugee week in Brighton & Hove was suppose to take place at SEAS with the launch of a multi media installation created by Jane Lancashire in consultation with Gil Mualem-Doron and with the participations of several community organisations and hundreds of people.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis the installation is postponed to December 2020 and for Refugee Week in June we are working on an interactive virtual and participatory web-based work. Watch this space.
