The mother of one of Indian Futures’ volunteers, Maeja Kim lives and works as a water colour artist in South Korea. Some time ago, Maeja challenged herself to try the most difficult thing she thought there was: express everyday joy and anger, sorrow and pleasure, through her art. She tells us: “Painting is my friend, a conversation and a time for meditation. Putting light and colour on the canvas is another way of finding and expressing my existence.”
